Artisan Diane Hill
A self-taught watercolorist, Diane indulges herself with miniatures created into jewelry. She also creates wall art of varying sizes and from varying media.
Treat yourself to her perspective of colorful and whimsical designs.
Diane fashions original miniature watercolor paintings as jewelry designs. To keep the cost more affordable, prints are made, and subsequently 15 individually and personally hand-hewn steps take place before it can be offered to you as wearable art. Designs are angels, birds, flowers, women, children, trees, and cartoons. Some pieces are bead enhanced. All are chameleon-like when they adorn your fashionable outfit.
Her wall art ranges from 1 x 2” to 3’x4’. Her favorites are a series of paintings of whimsical, unflappable multicultural women to whom she can relate and a box of crayons that could not be contained. She forms watercolor or acrylic to create her images.
Diane is an educator and a motivational speaker. She coordinates a team that offers Adult Basic Education to those seeking ESL or their GED. She is a wife, a mother, a "Nanny", a flower gardener, and a multimedia artist. Her favorite place to paint is sitting on her screened porch overlooking rambling acres of trees by Raspberry Creek. As birds sing to her, her flower gardens watch, classical music lilts, and she paints. She wishes you a lighter heart while you view A Work of HeartTM.
